Dr. Nakamura will speak the Japan-Indonesia Symposium on Env. DB Development on July 17.

The Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), in collaboration with Waseda University and LEXER Research Inc, Green CPS consortium is preparing to develop a Life Cycle Inventory National Database for Indonesia’s environmental impact assessment to support climate change policies.

This symposium will invite Indonesian government ministries to highlight the significance of this initiative and build a national cooperative framework.
The project aims to create a carbon footprint database and carbon pricing methods for key sectors like minerals, energy, agriculture, and automobiles. By applying DX/GX technologies, the initiative will set up a system to monitor greenhouse gas emissions throughout production, consumption, and disposal.
The symposium will feature partners like Waseda University, AIST, and LEXER Research to present the project’s goals. Discussions will focus on new industrial models using the developed database, aiming to establish a collaborative platform for industry, government, academia, and citizens to support Indonesia’s 2060 carbon neutrality targets.
